The Seven Sisters

October 2008. Acrylic on canvas. Each painting will be 50 x 80 cm (19,6 x 31,5 inches). These are the first of a total of 7 paintings. A wonderful book about Guardians of Crystals inspired me to create a series of 7 paintings or portraits, of 7 beings, representing a combination of energies and meanings like the 7 rays, the 7 main chakra's, 7 beautiful crystals, and so on. It is a pleasure to work on and after finishing 1 painting, the ones that were 'finished ' before, are changing again. The background connects and continues throughout all 7 paintings.

Now I have to found a proper wall to have them all lined up...
