The Seven Sisters (series of 7)
The Seven Sisters
Acrylic on canvas, series of 7 paintings. Above you see the fifth and sixth painting. Each painting will be 50 x 80 cm (19,6 x 31,5 inches).
A wonderful book about Guardians of Crystals inspired me to create a series of 7 paintings or portraits, of 7 beings representing a combination of energies and meanings like: the 7 rays, the 7 main chakra's, 7 beautiful crystals, and so on. It is a joy to work on and after finishing 1 painting, the ones that were 'finished ' before, are changing again. The background connects and continues throughout all paintings. The combined energies of these colourful paintings together will give you an energizing shower of colours. See also Ruby, the first one of this series, Carnelian, Citrine and Emerald. I am currently working on Amethyst, the last of the Seven Sister.
Now I will have to find a proper wall to have them all lined up...
